... Respondent PRAYER :- This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Thirumangalam to expedite the trial pending in C.C.No.110 of 2020 and complete the same within the stipulated time as framed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam to expedite the trial C.C.No.110 of 2020 and complete the same within the stipulated time as framed by this Court. 1/4

2. According to the petitioner, the case is pending from 2020; FIR was registered in the year 2013; and that there is a delay in disposal of the trial.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that one of the accused has challenged the final report, which was pending before this Court and subsequently that was dismissed by this Court and challenging the said order, Special Leave Petition is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though Special Leave Petition is pending, there is no interim order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

5. In the light of the same, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, shall ascertain if there is any interim order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and proceed in accordance with law. 2/4
