The above petitions have been filed (i) to condone the delay of 185 days in filing the petition to set aside the abatement caused due to the death of the second respondent, namely O.M.S.S.C.Jeganathan (ii) to set aside the abatement caused due to the death of the second respondent and (iii) to bring on record the proposed respondents 6 to 8 legal representatives of the deceased second respondent and rank them as respondents 6 to 8 in the above second appeal.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3.Records perused. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of these petitions, these petitions are ordered and the Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the second appeal and list the matter on 09.02.2026.
