ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection for putting up construction in Survey No.199/1C, 3D, 3F measuring 0.03 cents situated at Vadapatti Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2. The cause of action for seeking such a prayer arose in the year 2012 and it may not be appropriate for this Court to entertain the prayer sought for, after a period of four years. If at all the petitioner is still aggrieved and requires police protection, it is open to her to make a fresh application seeking for police protection.

3. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed for the present. In case, the petitioner still requires police protection it is open to her to make a fresh application before the concerned police officials seeking police protection and in case the police refuses to consider the petitioner's application, she would be entitled to approach this Court with the same prayer. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
