By relying on a sale deed dated 09.06.1985 in favour of the petitioner's father and a subsequent settlement deed dated 19.06.2023, the petitioner had applied for the conduct of a survey of land in survey No. 159/5A2. This Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. Since the patta stands in the petitioner's name, he submits that the application would be acted upon within three (3) months.

3. The petitioner has placed on record both title and revenue records relating to land in survey No.159/5A2. Therefore, a case is made out to consider his application.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's application for a survey after issuing notice to owners of adjacent lands and considering objections, if any, from them. The entire process shall be concluded 2/4

within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
