Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to conduct to survey the petitioner's land to an extent of 31.5 cents situated survey Number 115/1D at Thullukutty Nayakanur Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District and lay the boundary stones based on petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2025 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

By relying on a sale deed dated 27.01.2014 and joint patta No. 2423, the petitioner had applied online for a survey of land in survey No. 115/1D. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that action would be initiated on the petitioner's request for survey after issuing notice to the other pattadars under patta No.2423.

3. On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner confirms that there is no rival title claim. The petitioner has placed on record both title and revenue records relating to the property. Therefore, a case is made out to consider the petitioner's request.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's request for survey of 31.5 cents in survey No.115/1D after issuing notice to all the pattadars 2/4

under patta No.2423. Notice shall also be issued to owners of relevant adjacent lands. Objections, if any, from these persons shall be taken into consideration before a decision is made on the request for a survey.
