... Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari calling for the entire records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the first respondent under Section 203 of the T.N.

Panchayats Act under his proceeding in Na.Ka.No.A6/1686/2011 dated 30.06.2011 and quash the same. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Ramesh @ Ramiah For Respondent No.1 : Mr.S.Kumar, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, questioning the impugned order of the first respondent passed in Na.Ka.No.A6/1686/2011, dated 30.06.2011, vide which, the executive powers of the petitioner, being the President of Puliarai Panchayat, has been transferred to the second respondent, due to misappropriation of funds.

2.It is common knowledge that the posts of President, Vice President, etc., are no more in existence and therefore, this Court is of the view that no further order is required in this petition, related to their day to day administration. Hence, this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. But, it is made clear that it is always open to the respondents to initiate appropriate legal action against misappropriation of public funds. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
