ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.396 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent, which was registered for the offences under Section 296(b), 115(2), 351(3), 49 of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the investigation is almost completed and the first respondent has come to the conclusion that the complaint filed by the second respondent has to be referred as 'mistake of fact'.

3. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with direction to the first respondent to file the said report within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
