ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in public interest, seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the illegal encroachment made by the fourth respondent in Kudaganaru Water Channel situated in Survey No.309/1B, Aalambadi Village, Vedachandur Taluk, Dindigul District, within the time stipulated by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard both sides.

3. On notice, the second respondent filed the counter affidavit and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, states that notice has already been issued to the fourth respondent for removal of the alleged encroachment. The said submission is placed on record.

4. We, therefore, find that it is for the authority concerned to take appropriate action against the alleged encroacher as per the relevant provisions of law and proceed further in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
