The petitioner seeks for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to take water from the Pallachikulam Tank for irrigation of his land. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard Mr.V.Sasikumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent, Mr.S.Kumar, learned counsel for the second respondent and Mr.A.N.Ramanathan, learned counsel for the respondents 3 to 9.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 11.01.2013.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders after providing opportunity to all the necessary parties within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
