PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitions presented by the petitioners on 29.08.2013 regarding fixation of pay in the new time scale of pay fixed in G.O.Ms.No.162, Finance (Paycell) Department, dated 13.04.1998 and in the light of the recent dismissal of the Special Leave Petition in C.C.No.14007 of 2013 filed by the Government on 21.08.2013 by the Honourable Supreme Court within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, circulated a letter dated 03.04.2017 to the Registry of this Court, wherein it is stated that the parties have instructed him to withdraw the writ petition. The first petitioner has also signed the said letter. The relevant portion is extracted as follows:

"I have no objection for the withdrawal of W.P(MD) No.17796 of 2013. In fact, I myself and other insisted out counsel to withdraw the case for settling the matter within the department."

2. In view of the same, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
