ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent i.e. the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai to forward the petitioners appeal dated 24.09.2025 to the Additional Chief Secretary / Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai regarding refixation of correct inter-se seniority between employees recruited through TNPSC and appointed on compassionate grounds, within a specified time frame and on receipt of it from the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai, the Additional Chief Secretary / Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai may be directed to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 24.09.2025 regarding refixation of correct seniority within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate would submit that the second respondent had forwarded the appeal petition filed by the petitioner on 24.09.2025 to the first respondent. Since the appeal had already been forwarded by the second respondent to the first respondent, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
