Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the respondent in his proceeding Na.Ka.No.8580/2006/RD1 dated 06.08.2008 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to forthwith refund the amount of Rs.1,37,082 (Rupees one lakh thirty seven thousand eighty two only) to the petitioner together with interest @ 24% per annum from 01.11.2003 till the date of realization.

When the matter came up for hearing on 10.06.2019, there was no representation on behalf the writ petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption "For Dismissal". Accordingly, it is listed today i.e., 12.06.2019. Even today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the writ petitioner. In such circumstances, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution.
