Order in Na.Ka.No.4437/2013/A3, dated 12.10.2013, on the file of the respondent No.1 and quash the same as illegal. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2. 3.The order impugned in this Writ Petition is an order passed by the District Collector who is the Inspector of Panchayat withdrawing the cheque signing power of the petitioner. A reading of the impugned order shows that the petitioner's conduct and attitude was so recalcitrant and indifferent to cooperate for the smooth functioning and administration of the panchayat. When a notice was issued to the petitioner to show cause against the petitioner, the petitioner has not submitted any reply.

Hence, the impugned order has been passed so as to avoid any disturbance or inconvenience to the administration of the panchayat. In the said circumstances, there is no reason to interfere with the findings or the order passed by the District Collector which is perfectly in order and in the interest of the panchayat administration. The Writ Petition is dismissed. However, there is no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
