Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1 to 3 respondents to conduct the examination for the candidates from Tamil Nadu in any one of the branches in Tamil Nadu for the post of Artisan on 10.11.2013 for the safety of the candidates from Tamil Nadu. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct examination for the candidates from Tamil Nadu in any one of the branches in Tamil Nadu for the post of Artisan on 10.11.2013 for the safety of the candidates from Tamil Nadu.

2. The very relief sought for in the present writ petition is innocuous. The notification was issued in respect of a particular post with reference to BHEL at Hydrabad. When there is a separate recruitment process for the post of Artisan for Hydrabad Branch, the writ petitioner cannot file a writ petition to direct the respondents to conduct examination at Tamil Nadu. If at all the writ petitioner has chosen to participate in the process of selection, he has to join the process in the place and the time notified by the employer. In other words, the writ petitioner if interested in participating in the selection, he has to go to Hydrapad and participate. Contrarily he cannot seek a direction to conduct examination in Tamil Nadu. This apart the process of selection had been completed in the year 2013 and appointments were also made.
3. This being the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken with regard to the grounds raised in the present writ petition. Thus, this writ petition is devoid of merits and accordingly, it stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
