Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code/Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners herein under the guise of enquiry on the basis of the petitioners' representation, dated 28.10.2025. ORDER

The petitioners seek a direction to the second respondent not to harass them in the guise of enquiry based on the the petitioners' representation, dated 28.10.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the complaint given by the third respondent, the petitioner was called for enquiry after receipt of a report of the Social Welfare Officer and the enquiry would be completed within a period of two weeks.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say that the petitioners would not be 2/4

harassed in the guise of enquiry. The respondents police may issue summons, if the petitioners' appearance is required.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
