ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2025 and consequently conduct an enquiry against the fourth respondent, namely Baskar, S/o Natarajan.

2. The petitioner submits that she is the wife of the fourth respondent. The fourth respondent is alleged to have furnished false information to the first respondent and obtained different passports, which the petitioner brought to the notice of the first respondent. Subsequently, two such passports were revoked by the first respondent. However, no action was taken against the fourth respondent under Section 12 of the Passports Act, and yet another passport bearing No. X9383246 dated 11.04.2023 was issued to him. Aggrieved by the inaction, the petitioner submitted a representation to the first 2/5

respondent. Since no action was taken on the said representation, she has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

3. It appears that serious allegations have been made by the wife against the husband, including that he possesses four passports under different names. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent at their present addresses, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Index :
