Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to prevent the Respondents 5 and 6 from illegal sand quarrying in a pond in S.No.478 Karanampatti Vadaseri Village Karur District and taking remedial and penal action in respect of the ecological damage already caused therein.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to prevent the respondents 5 and 6 from illegal sand quarrying in a pond in S.No.478, Karanampatti, Vadaseri Village, Karur District and taking remedial and penal action in respect of the ecological damage already caused therein.

2.Mr.N.Manoharan, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that action has already been taken and penalty imposed which is reflected in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A4/1527/2010, dated 02.06.2010. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
