Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned rejection order dated 24.10.2025 passed by the 3rd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to grant permission to the petitioner for conducting protest meeting near the Karungulam Bus Stand, Tuticorin District, on 09.11.2025 at about 4.30 p.m., to 6.30 p.m., by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2025.

ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition has become infructuous as the petitioner seeks a direction to the third respondent to grant permission to conduct protest on 09.11.2025. However, it is needless to say that if the petitioner makes fresh representation seeking permission to conduct protest, the respondents shall consider the same in accordance with law.

2. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
