No.36 of 2014 dated 26.10.2015 as confirmed in W.P.(MD) No.20950 of 2016 dated 12.08.2024 and consequently direct the respondents to pay him difference in wages and also pay him revised pension along with revised amount of retirement benefits such as gratuity, earned leave salary, surrender leave salary, provident fund, Social Security Scheme Amount together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date when it became due to the petitioner to till the date of disbursement.

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to revise last drawn pay of petitioner as on 31.07.2025 and also to revise and refix his monthly pension and other retirement benefits such as Gratuity, Earned Leave Salary, Surrender Leave Salary, Provident Fund, Social Security Scheme Amount, etc. in terms of the award of the Labour Court, Madurai made in I.D. No.36 of 2014 dated 26.10.2015 as confirmed in W.P.(MD) No.20950 of 2016 dated 12.08.2024 and consequently direct the respondents to pay him difference in wages and also pay him revised pension along with revised 2/5
amount of retirement benefits such as gratuity, earned leave salary, surrender leave salary, provident fund, Social Security Scheme Amount together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date when it became due to the petitioner to till the date of disbursement.
2. Even though the petitioner has sought for a positive Mandamus, it is seen that the petitioner has sent a representation on 28.10.2025 for the very same relief.
3. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
