ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Additional Mahila Court at Magistrate Level, Sivagangai to expedite the trial and dispose the case in DVC No.9 of 2024 within the time as fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, the aggrieved party in DVC No. 9 of 2024, seeks to expedite the trial in the learned Additional Mahila Court, Sivagangai, due to undue delays. The case, filed against the relatives and sisters of her husband, alleges domestic violence. Despite proceedings, the respondents have not cooperated, and the case has been repeatedly adjourned. Due to which, the petitioner is suffering mental agony and hardship. Hence, the present Criminal Original Petition came to be filed.

3. However, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 4 to 7 submitted that the respondents 5 to 7 are not parties before the learned Trial Court and sought for recording the same. The same is duly recorded.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the nature of the case, the learned Additional Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court at Magistrate Level, Sivagangai, is directed to dispose of the case in DVC No.9 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
