This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 22.10.2025 passed by the second respondent. 2/6

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record.

3. In the present case, the eighth respondent filed an application before the second respondent seeking cancellation of the patta standing in the names of one Sornam and Lakshmi. During the course of the inquiry, the petitioner impleaded himself in the proceedings on the ground that the property belongs to his grandfather.

4. After conducting an inquiry and examining the petitioner and others, the impugned orders were passed deleting the names of Lakshmi and Sornam from the patta.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has filed a suit for declaration and a partition suit before the civil court.

6. Insofar as the impugned proceedings are concerned, the patta was cancelled in the names of Sornam and Lakshmi and there is no dispute in this regard. In such circumstances, the impugned order does not warrant interference. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedies in the suit pending before the civil court. 3/6
