ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2025 and provide adequate police protection for demolition of the building belonging to him.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the Municipality had granted permission to demolish the building; that the building is located in a crowded place; and that unless there is police protection, it is impossible for demolition of the building.

3. In view of the above submission, the respondents shall consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2025 and take appropriate action within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner. If there is any rival claim, the respondents shall issue notice to the rival parties and take appropriate action in accordance with law. 2/4

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
