PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider the petitioners appeal dated 13.10.2025 and thereon act upon the same by following the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act 1983 and Tamil Nadu Patta pass Book Rules 1987 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court. 1/4

ORDER

The petitioner asserts that he is the legal heir of late Kader Ibrahim, whose name was unlawfully deleted from patta No.8204. After filing an appeal in that regard before Revenue Divisional Officer, the petitioner seeks early disposal thereof.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the appeal would be considered and disposed of on merits within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In the above facts and circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and both pattadhars in patta No.8204. No costs.
