The order of suspension dated 07.01.2010 is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. The writ petitioner was placed under suspension on account of the fact that a criminal case was registered against him under Sections 7, 13(2) and 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent brought to the notice of this Court that the criminal case registered against the writ petitioner has ended with conviction and pursuant to the order of conviction, the writ petitioner has already been removed from service. Thus, the cause arose for filing of the present writ petition has become disappeared and hence, the writ petition is closed.

No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
