PRAYER (in W.P.(MD) No.18392 of 2013): Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of declaration declaring the Rule 5 of Tamil Nadu Industries Subordinate Service Rules, as illegal and arbitrary in so far as fixing the upper age limit for the post of Assistant Inspector of Sericulture as 28 years and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to sponsor petitioner name for the post of Assistant Inspector of Sericulture to the respondents 1 and 2 and further directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of Assistant Inspector of Sericulture based on petitioner educational qualification without reference to age. 18462 of 2013): Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of declaration declaring the action of the respondents 1 and 2 in proceeding with selection and filling up the 18 posts of Assistant Inspector of Sericulture without giving any wide publicity and advertisement in News Paper having large circulation is illegal and consequently direct the 1st respondent to fill up the 18 vacancies in the post of Assistant Inspector of Sericulture by giving wide publicity and advertisement in News Paper having large circulation and also by other modes and to make appointment by considering the petitioner's representation along with other eligible persons.
