ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2011 and to direct the respondents to protect the Historical Monument Thirumalai Naicker Mahal, Madurai.

2.When the matter came up on 11.08.2011, this Court admitted the writ petition and ordered notice to the respondents. On such notice, the second respondent has filed a counter affidavit, during November 2013 wherein, it has been stated as follows:

"6.I submit that there is no damage caused to the monuments. Any how there was an objection to allow the cinema shooting in the monuments. Hence, authority has taken necessary steps to ban the cinema shooting in the monuments as G.O.Ms.No.114, Tourism and Culture Department, dated 09.08.2011. Hence, there is no scope for cinema shooting". 3.In the light of the stand taken by the second respondent, the writ petition is not maintainable. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
