ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.157 of 2023 and file a final report within a time fixed by this Court.

2.It is reported by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police that the final report is made ready and the case has been referred to as mistake of fact and the same would be filed within a period of two (2) weeks before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to file a final report within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law as when it is filed.
