Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide basic needs like drinking water, waiting rooms, lights, computer reservation centre and toilets in Palakarai Railway Station and consequently direct the respondents to halt all express and passenger trains at Palakarai Railway Station in view of the representation dated 07.06.2011 within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that certain basic facilities required to be given to Palakarai Railway Station.
2. None appears for the petitioner.
3.The respondents have filed a detailed counter, wherein at paragraphs - 6 to 9 it is clearly stated about the measures which have already taken and what measures cannot be taken. It is also stated that there is no justification to stop express trains in the said railway station, since it is located very close to Tiruchirapalli Junction.

4.We do not find any reason to issue further direction in public interest, since the authorities concerned have already taken possible steps. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
