ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent-Pharmacy Council of India-to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 03.03.2025 for starting B.Pharm and D.Pharm courses from the academic year 2025-26 and to process the same within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner submits that their trust intends to start a pharmacy college and, accordingly, submitted an application to the respondent Council. However, the respondent Council rejected the petitioner's application. Thereafter, the petitioner filed an appeal. Since no progress has been made in respect of the said appeal, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 03.03.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
