ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the first respondent to refund a sum of Rs.23,500/- paid as fees by the writ petitioner to the first respondent.

2. The learned Counsel for the writ petitioner made submissions that the writ petitioner was admitted in the first respondent Centre for Natural Dyes Research and Training, for the purpose of undergoing one year training course and Rs.18,500/- was paid towards tuition fee and Rs. 5,800/- was paid towards hostel fee. However, at the instance of the respondents, the institute was unable to complete the course. The course itself was abandoned and students were relieved. Accordingly, the students who spent sometimes by undergoing course had been deprived of their right to complete their course and further the period spent for the training has also become waste for the students. Thus, it is an admitted fact that the institute had abandoned the course at their instance. This being the factum, the writ petitioner is entitled for the relief of refund of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the fees collected by the first respondent.

3. It is unfortunate that the Centre being a Government organization had abandoned the Course after granting admission to the students to undergo training course. In this view of the matter, the first respondent is directed to reimburse the entire amount of Rs. 23,500/- to the writ petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands allowed. However, there shall be no orders as to costs.
