PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertains to the 2nd respondent's impugned order in Ni.Mu.A.4/7266/2025 dated 25.10.2025 and quash the same as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner appeal dated 29.10.2025 in accordance to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (POA) Act 1989 Section 3(1) (IV)(V) and Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 within a stipulated time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

An order dated 25.10.2025 of the Revenue Divisional Officer is assailed in this writ petition.

2. At the hearing today, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will avail of the statutory remedy of a revision, if permitted to do so. Accordingly, without making any observations on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to file a revision before the District Revenue Officer. If such revision petition is presented within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the jurisdictional District Revenue Officer is directed to receive and dispose of the same on merits without going into the question of limitation. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
