This Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 22.11.2016 regarding the order passed by the second respondent.

2. Considering the fact that the petitioner's appeal dated 22.11.2016 against the order of the punishment imposing the stoppage of increment dated 25.10.2016 has not been disposed of, even after nine years of such appeal being filed, there shall be direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 22.11.2016 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
