By relying on a sale deed dated 19.08.1969 in favour of the petitioner's mother and the legal heir certificate relating to the petitioner's mother, the petitioner had made multiple representations to cancel the entry regarding survey Nos.84/5 and 84/6 in the revenue records describing the lands as 'Bhoomithan land' and to issue patta to the petitioner. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.
2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He points out that the Revenue Divisional Officer has issued a communication to the District Collector regarding the petitioner's request and adverting to the classification of the land as 'Bhoomithan land' in the revenue records. He also submits that a final 2/4
decision has to be taken by the Commissioner of Land Administration.
3. In the above circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petitioner is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request on merits within four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
