The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of certiorari to quash the impugned Award, dated 27.08.2013, passed in C.P.No.102 of 2009, by the first respondent, whereby and whereunder, the claim of Rs.20,475/- with costs, made by the petitioner was allowed by the first respondent.

2. When the connected writ petition, in W.P.(MD) No.7445 of 2008, filed by the petitioner-Temple challenging the award passed by the first respondent directing reinstatement of the second respondent into service with continuity of service and without backwages, came up for hearing on 04.07.2016, the second respondent / workman appeared in person and gave an undertaking that he would not press for reinstatement against a sanctioned post or make a claim for backwages.

3. In view of the undertaking given by the second respondent, on 04.07.2016, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
