ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the 1/4
respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, in Crime No. Not known of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that, in the present case, it is the petitioner's son who is involved, and that there are three previous cases pending against the petitioner in connection with other crimes, for which the petitioner has already obtained bail. She further submitted that the petitioner, apprehending arrest in connection with the case relating to her son, has filed the present Criminal Original Petition.
3. In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is subsequently included or implicated in the present case, it is open to the petitioner to approach this Court seeking appropriate relief.
