Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue Separate patta in Petitioner name in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.544/4B1A, in Patta No. 1546 Punja Land to an extent of (0.66.80 Hectares) devolved to the petitioner by a Registered sale deed in Document No.27/2022 situated at South Singampunari Village, Singampunari Taluk and Sivagangai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 10.09.2025 within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

By relying on a sale deed dated 06.01.2022 and patta No.1546, the petitioner had applied for issuance of a separate patta in relation to survey No.544/4B1A. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of on merits within three (3) months.

3. The petitioner has placed on record the sale deed pertaining to the purchase of 1.65 acres in survey No.544/4B1A. The patta in the name of the petitioner's vendor has also been placed on record. Therefore, the petitioner has made out a case for the consideration of the request for a separate patta.

4. For reasons aforesaid, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Tahsildar to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for a separate patta within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to the current pattadar and to the petitioner. No costs.
