O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the first respondent for renewal of passport to the writ petitioner on the basis of his application dated 12.08.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.41 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent police. According to him, investigation has been completed and charge sheet has been laid on 14.01.2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar District. However, so far charge sheet has not yet been taken on file.

3. In view of the above said submissions, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case, if any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks. Based upon the order passed by the Judicial Magistrate, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar District, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
