PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to renew and issue Passport bearing File No.MD1075594825825 dated 04.09.2025, ignoring the adverse police verification report, within a time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to renew and reissue the passport based upon his application dated 04.09.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the second respondent submits that several cases are pending against him in which charge sheet has been laid in three cases.

3. A perusal of the records reveal that S.T.C.No.198 of 2025, C.C.No.10 of 2023 and C.C.No.149 of 2025 are pending before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Singampunari. The petitioner is directed to approach the Court concerned in all the three cases and seek the permission of the Court concerned for leaving abroad before seeking renewal of the passport.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
