Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners representations dated 03.07.2013 and 12.8.2013 and to forward the name of the petitioner in priority category "Dependent Ex-serviceman" under Group-II (I) in accordance with G.O.MS.No.1161, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Personnel-R) Department, dated 22.11.1984 within a time frame.

The grievances of the writ petitioner is that the father of the writ petitioner is an Ex-Serviceman, who served in Indian Army and retired from service on 06.12.1958. The writ petitioner registered her name before the District Employment Office on 22.07.1987. The petitioner being the daughter of the Exserviceman, is entitled to avail the priority quota under Group - II (I) for employment through employment exchange in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.1161, Personal and Administrative Reforms Department, dated 22.11.1984. In this regard, the writ petitioner registered her name as Dependent Ex-serviceman. However, the same was not properly registered and the name of the writ petitioner has not been sponsored for employment under the quota. In this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

regard, the petitioner sent a representation to the second respondent on 03.07.2013 and the same is yet to be considered. 2.Under these circumstances, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 03.07.2013 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed send a copy of the representation to the second respondent along with a copy of this order.
