This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to issue a passport to the petitioner by considering his passport application vide File No.TR2075508782825 and his representation dated 29.10.2025 within a stipulated period as prescribed by this Court. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has applied seeking renewal of passport, which was expired on 14.09.2024 through on-line by paying necessary charges. By considering the said application, the first respondent issued a notice to the petitioner, it is informed that the second respondent police sent an adverse police report as aginst the petitioner. For the said notice, the petitioner sent an explanation in person dated 29.10.2025. The same is pending without any consideration. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3.Since it is informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that an explanation has already been given on 29.10.2025 to the adverse notice issued as against the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the said explanation and pass orders within three weeks on merits and in accordance with law.
