ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court that the order of this Court in WP.(MD)No.16414 of 2024 dated 22.07.2024, has not been complied with.

2.The petitioner, claiming reimbursement of the medical expenses incurred by his wife, has submitted a representation to the respondent and the respondent herein by his order dated 03.05.2024 has rejected the same. As against the said order, the petitioner has filed a writ petition in WP.(MD)No.16414 of 2024. This Court by its order dated 22.07.2024, has disposed of the said writ petition by setting aside the order dated 03.05.2024 and directed the respondent to reconsider the claim of the petitioner. Now,the petitioner has filed this contempt petition that the order passed by this Court dated 22.07.2024 has not been complied with. 2/5

3.When this contempt petition was taken up for hearing on 27.01.2026, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and therefore the registry has listed this contempt petition today, ie., 30.01.2026. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner is claiming reimbursement for the maternity expenses incurred for his wife. According to him, as per the scheme, medical expenses incurred for maternity is not entitled for reimbursement and the same is communicated to the petitioner, vide letter dated 06.01.2026. 5.In view of the above submission, this contempt petition is closed.
