ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to pass orders forthwith on the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2025, seeking correction of his father's name as I.Ananth instead of A.Ananth in the petitioner's SSLC Mark Statement bearing Sl. No. SEC 11037715 and in the Transfer Certificate dated 24.06.2022 bearing Sl. No. 2022/33300200116010699/7378961, and to reissue the said certificates within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.P.T.Thiraviyam, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the third respondent, notice to them is dispensed with. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner states that he had submitted a representation to the respondents seeking correction of his father's name in the aforesaid certificates. As the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner's representation will be duly considered by the first respondent in accordance with law.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
