O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents herein to measure and demarcate the petitioner's lands comprised in Patta Nos.1339 and 46, relating to Survey Nos.157/5A2 and 157/48 respectively, situated at Ilanjavur Village, Kottaiyur, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, in the light of the petitioner's representations dated 29.09.2025 and 03.10.2025, within the time frame stipulated by this Court and also directing the third respondent herein to provide adequate police protection during the survey of the petitioner's lands.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been submitted for the survey of the property in question and for demarcation of its boundaries and the representations have also been submitted.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
4. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the first and second respondents to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 05.09.2025 and her representations dated 29.09.2025 and 03.10.2025, survey and demarcate the petitioner's land after consideration of the claims of all parties including the private respondent and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is Page No. 3 of 5
needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners, the private respondent and other interested parties, if any and that if required, police assistance may be taken.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
