This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report registered in Crime No.211 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Section 420 of IPC.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the investigation in Crime No.211 of 2019, a final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Kumbakonam, on 11.08.2025.

3.In view of the aforesaid submission, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the above said Final Report, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
