[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] This civil miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 195 days in the filing the above writ appeal.

2. A dispute regarding Nilaviyal Paathai has been entertained by the learned Single Judge and a direction has been given to the petitioners herein to grant patta for the respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the State has preferred the writ appeal, however, with a delay of 195 days.

3. The respondent has filed a counter affidavit objecting the condone delay application.

4. Since this Court is of the view that the matter relates to the Nilaviyal Paathai, which is meant for public, the writ appeal is to be considered on merits. Hence, this civil miscellaneous petition is allowed and the delay of 195 days in filing the above writ appeal is condoned.

5. Registry is directed to number the writ appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order, and post the same for admission in the usual course. [G.J., J.] [K.K.R.K., J.] 02.01.2026 NCC :
