ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to issue passport.

2. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, the respondent has filed counter by stating that in view of the difference in address in the application for the passport where he is residing, the respondent has issued a show cause notice to the petitioner on 08.08.2013 to give explanation regarding the present address and that if the petitioner appears before the authority concerned, his application will be considered.

3. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent and give explanation to the respondent and thereafter, the respondent shall give an opportunity to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
