This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 12% p.a., for the period of delay from the petitioner's date of retirement (31.03.2024) to till the date of reimbursement (25.08.2025) of amount paid towards the petitioner's terminal and pension benefits, namely, EPF Employees Contribution, Gratuity, Encashment of Earned/Sick Leave and other monetary benefits.

2. Considering the admitted fact that there has been a delay in payment, the petitioner is entitled to statutory interest as provided under law.

3. In view of the same, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. The respondents are directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum on 2/4
