The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to fix a date for conducting election and to send wakf board officials to monitor the election for the petitioner's Wakf i.e., Sivakasi Sabhaskhan Gori Pallivasal and its subsidiary South Pallivasal, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2013.

2. Mr.K.K.Senthil, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents brought to the notice of this Court a proceedings of the second respondent dated 19.12.2013 stating that the election is scheduled to be held on 12.01.2014. He has also produced the said proceeding before this Court.
