(Order of the Court was made by C.V.Karthikeyan, J.) This petition has been filed complaining that the second daughter of the petitioner, aged about 31 years, has been missing on and from 04.10.2025. In this connection, the petitioner had lodged a complaint and FIR in Crime No.576/2025 had been registered by the first respondent under the caption "woman missing".

2. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner has insisted that the second respondent had enticed the daughter of the petitioner from her normal place of residence. It was also stated that he is a married man having two children. Today, the detenu had been produced before us. After having a discussion with her, we had sought assistance of the Mediation and Conciliation centre, to facilitate the talks between her, the petitioner and her elder sister.

3. We therefore, called the matter again in the afternoon session. The detenue had stated that she is now willing to go with her

father and her elder sister. She realised that the marriage between the second respondent and his wife has not yet been dissolved in the manner known to law.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that he would ensure that the petitioner does not cause any mental disturbance to the detenue. We hope that peace would reign in the household.

5. Since the detenu had now agreed to go with the petitioner, no further orders are required. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
