The petitioner had challenged Patta No.18639 before the first respondent. By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks the early disposal of such appeal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's aunt and her children obtained a legal heirship certificate by suppressing the particulars about the petitioner's father's second wife and children. He also states that such legal heirship certificate is the subject of W.P.(MD) No.16602 of 2024. He further submits that two fraudulent sale deeds were executed on that basis. Therefore, he states that the patta has been challenged.
3. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. He submits that the first respondent would consider and dispose of the appeal on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the current pattadhars and any other person who would be 2/5
affected by the order.
4. In view of the above submissions of learned Government Advocate, it is not necessary to issue notice to the third and fourth respondents in this writ petition. Instead, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's request for cancellation of patta within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, private respondents herein and any other person who would be affected by such order. For the avoidance of doubt, it is clarified that no opinion has been expressed on the merits of the matter. No costs.
